How to reconstitute Semaglutide

1. Swab the rubber stopper of the Semaglutide vial and the bacteriostatic water vial with an alcohol wipe.
2. Draw 2 ml of bacteriostatic water into a syringe.
3. Inject it slowly down the inside wall of the Semaglutide vial, not directly onto the powder.
4. Swirl gently until the powder fully dissolves. Do not shake. Shaking can damage the peptide.
5. No manufacturer stability data exists for reconstituted lyophilised semaglutide, because no approved product is supplied that way.

Semaglutide dosing

Storing reconstituted Semaglutide

No manufacturer stability data exists for reconstituted lyophilised semaglutide, because no approved product is supplied that way. Refrigerate at 2 to 8 degrees C and protect from light. For reference, the Ozempic pen may be kept 56 days after first use, but that is a different physical product and the figure does not transfer.

Approved semaglutide ships as a prefilled pen or a ready-to-use solution vial, never as a powder you reconstitute.
