How to reconstitute CJC-1295
- Swab the rubber stopper of the CJC-1295 vial and the bacteriostatic water vial with an alcohol wipe.
- Draw 1 ml of bacteriostatic water into a syringe.
- Inject it slowly down the inside wall of the CJC-1295 vial, not directly onto the powder.
- Swirl gently until the powder fully dissolves. Do not shake. Shaking can damage the peptide.
- Keep the unreconstituted vial at 2 to 8 degrees C.
CJC-1295 concentration by water volume
CJC-1295 is commonly supplied in 5 mg vials. The concentration depends only on how much bacteriostatic water you add. More water lowers the concentration and makes small doses easier to measure.

CJC-1295 dosing
Dosing splits by version. The no-DAC form (Mod GRF 1-29) is commonly dosed around 100 mcg subcutaneously, often once or more daily and timed with an ipamorelin dose. The DAC form is dosed much less frequently, roughly weekly, because of its long half-life. None of this is standardized or approved, and protocols vary widely from source to source. CJC-1295 is sold as two chemically different products under one name. The doses above are for the DAC-conjugated form, given as single subcutaneous doses of 30 to 60 mcg/kg weekly or biweekly in the Teichman 2006 trial. They do not apply to CJC-1295 without DAC (mod GRF 1-29), which is a different molecule with a half-life measured in minutes and no human dosing data. Check which one you have.

CJC-1295 reconstitution FAQ
Draw 1 ml of bacteriostatic water into a syringe, inject it slowly down the inside wall of the CJC-1295 vial, and swirl gently until the powder dissolves. Do not shake. The concentration is the vial size in mg times 1,000, divided by the millilitres you added.
1 ml for a 5 mg vial gives 5,000 mcg/ml. More liquid makes small doses easier to measure accurately. The calculator shows the concentration for any volume you choose.
Units to draw equals your dose in mcg divided by the concentration in mcg/ml, times 100 on a U-100 insulin syringe. At 5,000 mcg/ml, a 3 mg dose is 60 units.
